In our latest gathering, we shared about our Triggers.
We’re surrounded by all types of triggers. You see a favourite snacks and your saliva ticks; the sight of a stapler invokes all the stresses of work; looking at that one book always gives you ideas. These triggers prime a response in your brain for all types of habits. Giving your environment an overhaul—with your triggers in mind—can make you more productive, happier, conscious expansion and goal oriented.
Identifying your triggers is key.
Take a moment to notice any strong negative emotion you’re experiencing. If you’re not feeling anything negative now, congratulate yourself, and then think about the last time you were upset. Whether your unpleasant feelings are present or past, don’t judge or resist them. Send your memory backward in time to find the moment when you switched from “okay” to “not okay.” Did you begin feeling bad at breakfast this morning? While going to bed last night?
You won’t even think to identify your trigger until after it’s pulled. But with continued attention, you’ll start recognizing triggers sooner, and one day, even as you’re firing off shouts or tears, part of you will be saying, “Oops, there I go again.” You’ll then have a choice: Continue to blast, or put the safety on your psyche.
Throughout our last gathering, Kath mentioned many times about being in alignment with our vibrational vortex.
So what’s is Vortex?
The vortex is alike to alignment to Source energy. (Or whatever you call Universe, God, All That Is, etc.)
Being in the vortex means you’re at one with who you really are, you’re feeling fab, and in vibrational alignment to your desires. It’s represented by feelings like enthusiasm, inspiration, passion, joy, and appreciation.
Being out of the vortex means you’re energetically kinked, not letting in the good stuff you’ve been calling in. It often feels frustrated, hopeless, fearful, or angry.
Being in the vortex means you’re experiencing the kind of alignment that fosters magic and miracles. It’s where you get inspired answers to your questions. It’s where things come together beautifully. It’s where you feel on top of the world!
You can tell whether you’re in or out of the vortex based on how you feel. When you feel good, you’re in. When you feel crappy, you’re not in.
The vortex is also where you want to take action from. That “aligned” state is a great time to make the phone calls, place the orders, sign the agreements, say “I do,” create the business plan, etc.
Because if you do anything outside the vortex, it’s not likely to pay off in ways you’d prefer.
So getting in is pretty important for having a life of ease and flow like deliberate creators know it can be.
Are you in your vortex today?
