31st Jan 2016 Connective Session: Stillness

Am grateful for your time with Katherine in our last gathering. We gathered together “peeking” into our consciousness and had realisation of certain thoughts that we wouldn’t even aware before though these thoughts may be with us all along.

Even at the tiniest level, Quantum Mechanics has discovered that atoms and sub-atoms are in fact composed of packets of energy. Now, leading research on human consciousness is showing that this energy vibrates on a Scale of Consciousness.

The Scale of Consciousness was first illustrated by Dr. David Hawkins in his book “Power vs. Force”. He showed that consciousness, and therefore each human emotion has a vibration in the exact same way that matter does. 

Heavy emotions like Fear, Anger or Shame vibrate at low frequencies. But feelings like Love, Joy and Peace vibrate at high, uplifting frequencies

Before we “tuned” into the frequency our consciousness vibration, Katherine asked a question.

Katherine: Questions to Ponder – If you are allocated a frequency number for yourself, what do you feel your number will be? Say choose from 0-9? And Why ?

Katherine then integrate your connective answers with the Words/ Quote from Universe shared in the session:

“When you are still, you are who you were before you temporarily assumed this physical and mental form called a person.”

Each of you was then asked to share about your feelings and connection with the sentence. Then Katherine integrate connectively into your consciousness by aligning your number frequency with your connectivity to the words from the Universe’s quote. After which, Kath shared about “thoughts” you may or may not be be aware of.

In our discussion, Kath shared about Stillness several times.

Stillnss acts as a gateway to the spiritual, a gateway of three successive forms of stillness.

The first, stillness of the body-heart-mind, develops in meditation when we sit quietly long enough.

The second is the stillness of awareness, stillness of consciousness which differs from stillness of the body-heart-mind.

Finally, the third is the stillness of the stillness of will, means letting go of our attachments and intentions, desires of all kinds, even the desire to be in a state of stillness.

Towards the last part of our gathering, we had done the “Frequency Cone Tarot readings”using our tarot deck to confirm what is the current most important “work” we have to do so that we can be closer or more aligned with our Stillness or High Consciousness , Or Source or God….all descriptions to Katherine means the same.

Kath also shared that the higher your frequency number, the higher the vibrations, which of course is good.

29th August 2015 Connective Session: Self-Alignments

Part 1: Our Alignment Tool – Mantra

In the last connective gathering, Kath shared one of a Alignment Tool: Mantra

Mantra in Sanskrit means tool or instrument of the mind. Mantra are short repeated words or sayings that can be used as a form of relaxation or meditation. They can be simple sounds like “Om” or can be longer sayings, such as: “I breathe in. I breathe out.”

Practicing Mantra can calm one’s mind. We encouraged all to create your own mantra and chant at least 07 times or 108 times if you have the time.

Kath also shared the one-word Mantra – “Shima”

Shima” is a Hopi word meaning “love”. Hopi is a tribe of Native American people. This mantra is about loving everyone in this world.

Part 2: Vibrational Range

When you visualise to overcome something that is wrong, your thoughts are diluted with the “lackful” side of the equation. In time, your physical condition will acquiesce to your dominant thoughts. There is a vibrational frequency range of our thoughts. 
 
Everything about your life is coming to you in response to the focus of your thoughts.
As you imagine and visualize and verbalize your new story, in time you will believe the new story, and when that happens, the evidence will flow swiftly into your experience. 
 
The Law of Attraction is responding to your thought, not to your current reality. When you change the thought, your reality must follow suit. If things are going well for you, then focusing upon what is happening now will cause the well-being to continue, but if there are things happening now that are not pleasing, you must find a way of taking your attention away from those unwanted things.
 
You have the ability to quickly change your patterns of thought, your vibrational range varies and eventually… your life experience.
 
Every subject could be seen as 2 subjects – “what is wanted” and the “lack of what is wanted.” 
Each subject Has a Varied Vibrational Range. So merely focusing upon the subject, or idea, of money is but the beginning of necessary focusing, molding of the vibrational energy, required to bring money to your experience. You need to aware where are you at the vibrational range by understanding your emotions and how you feel. You get what you feel about when you think about!
What is actually happening in your experience relative to the subject of money always matches the essence of your vibrational offering. Observing what is manifesting, or happening to you, can give you accurate reading of where you are on the vibrational scale BEFORE things manifest.

Try this Exercise

Take 15 minutes daily, thinking of pleasant scenarios regarding your body, with the sole intent of enjoying your body and appreciating its strength and stamina and flexibility and beauty. When you visualize for the joy of visualizing rather than with the intention of correcting some deficiency, your thoughts are more pure and, therefore, more powerful.

August 17th 2014 Connective Session: Fear & Love

Who has no fear? Fear sucks. It has a terrible way of taking over our lives, despite our best efforts. 

Fear is worry magnified. Fear is the energy which contracts, closes down, draws in, runs, hides, hoards, harms.

Overcoming Fear will help with preventing fears from interfering with your life.

It’s worth the courage it takes to modify your behavior, because fear and anxiety are huge obstacles to building self esteem and confidence. 

This session we are privileged to face our own fears. We have learnt about how we can face and challenged our fears positively.

So, how to Overcome Fear? Katherine recommends four ways:

  1. Start by acknowledging it.
  2. Define its parameters. Approaching your fear as something with a beginning and an end can help you see that you have the power to contain it. If you can clearly see the shape of your fear, you’ll be able to recognize when its affecting you and handle it more effectively. Consider you are bigger than your fear and fear will slowly cease to exists.
  3. Imagine the outcome you desire.
  4. Start seeing fear as an opportunity.

The opposite of Fear :  LOVE

Love is the energy which expands, opens up, sends out, stays, reveals, shares, heals.

Fear wraps our bodies in clothing, love allows us to stand naked. Fear clings to and clutches all that we have, love gives all that we have away. Fear holds close, love holds dear. Fear grasps, love lets go. Fear rankles, love soothes. Fear attacks, love amends.

Every human thought, word, or deed is based in one emotion or the other. You have no choice about this, because there is nothing else from which to choose. But you have free choice about which of these to select. You can choose Love instead of Fear.

Nov 1st Connective Session: New Learning – Deeper Reflection Part 2

This post is a continuation on my earlier Deeper Reflection post.

To start the session, we discussed :Why do Smart People do Dumb Things. How can someone so Smart be so Stupid?

People buy high and sell low. They believe in superstition. They figure it can’t happen to them. People talked on the cellphone while driving.  They supersize their fries and burgers and order the diet Coke. I read an article somewhere recently saying that the reason smart people can sometimes be stupid is that intelligence and rationality are different.

“There is a narrow set of cognitive skills that we  track and that we call intelligence. But that’s not the same as intelligent behaviour in the real world,” Stanovich says. Stanovich is an adjunct professor of human development and applied psychology at the University of Toronto who studies intelligence and rationality.

Real world demands require more than intelligence but rational thinking styles and skills. Human thinking is the product of two different channels or systems. System 1 thinking is instinctive, emotion based and faster, while System 2 thinking is more deliberate, effortful and hence slower. We switch between System 1 and 2 subconsciously all the time. 

It is not how well we think, but whether we choose to engage our brains for deliberate thinking that determines our rationality.

What this means is that even though we can, often we choose not to think. Thus, I always quote “ Thinking is the hardest thing to do. ~ Henry Ford”

I think its time to give our good old brain a workout!

Our session continues…. Deeper Self-Reflection 

Deep Reflection on….

Reflection No. 3 Awareness – Whenever there is negativity in you, if you can be aware at that moment that there is something in you that takes pleasure in it or believes it has a useful purpose, you are becoming aware of the ego directly. The moment this happens your identity has shifted from ego to awareness. this means the ego is shrinking and awareness is growing.

Self awareness is developed through practices in focusing your attention on the details of your personality and behavior. It isn’t learned from reading a book. When you read a book you are focusing your attention on the conceptual ideas in the book. With your attention in a book you are practicing not paying attention to your own behavior, emotions and personality.

Think of learning to be mindful and self aware as learning to dance. When learning to dance we have to pay attention to how and where our feet move, our hands and body motion, what our partner is doing, music, beat, floor space, and other dancers. Self awareness isn’t learned from books and the Tango isn’t either.

Oct 13 Connective Session: New Learning – Deeper Reflection

Learning is both an active and reflective process. Though we learn by doing, constructing, building, talking, and writing, we also learn by thinking about events, activities and experiences. This confluence of experiences (action) and thought (reflection) combines to create new knowledge. Both action and reflection are essential ingredients in the construction of knowledge. 

In our last sharing session,  we were privileged to spend time on deep reflection on a few topics.

Our Learning involves the focus on Plato’s directive, “know thyself” which can lead to a lifetime of investigation. Self-knowledge becomes an outcome of learning. 

Deep Reflection on….

Reflection No. 1 : Allowing – Through allowing, you become what you are: vast, spacious. You become whole. You are not a fragment anymore, which is how the ego perceives itself. your true nature emerges,which is one with the nature of God.

Meditation:  What are your life rules? Peel them off one by one….

Reflection No. 2 : Knowing thyself – knowing yourself goes far deeper than the adoption of a set of ideas or beliefs. Spiritual ideas and beliefs may at best be helpful pointers, but in themselves they rarely have the power to dislodge the more firmly established core concepts of who you think you are, which is part of the conditioning of the human mind.

September 29 Connective Goal Setting Session: Who you really are?

You were sent to earth with a mission to fulfill. This mission has to do with your passion. If you want to be happy and fulfilled with enthusiasm, you have to discover what your mission is and organize your life and activities in function of your mission.

Remember your purpose in life is to be Who You Really Are.

In our last sharing session, we started the session checking our energies alignment and then moved on to checking up our inner goals.

After which, I have shared that  “if you want guarantees in life, then you don’t want life. You want rehearsals for a script that’s already been written.”  We need to discover who we really are and live our life with flow. We believe that we are thoughts, emotions, and stories. Living is flowing.  

Part of your reason for coming to earth is to evolve yourself and part of it is to serve humanity in some way. The process of evolving yourself is called your life purpose, and the service you came to offer humanity is called your life’s work. They are intertwined because as you evolve, you serve others in a much better way, and the process of serving others can also result in your evolution. Everything you do to evolve yourself and carry out your life’s work is an act of aligning with the Higher Will and your Higher Self. Allow your Flow to happen.

We did Astrology (Virgo & Libra) Reading on Self-Connection on the 2nd part of our session. We gain awareness on our past karma, what’s need to learn and apply to Present Life and what’s need to let go. Finally we also meditate to connect with our twin flame. 

To end our session, i shared what i feel is the The Best relationship Vows ever (a version dedicated to my students) …. 

To my students,I agree at a conscious level that the purpose of my relationship with you is and will always be to create an opportunity, not an obligation – an opportunity of growth, for full self-expression, for lifting our lives to their highest potential, for healing every false thought or small idea we’ve ever had about ourselves, and for ultimate reunion with God through the communion of our souls.

Aug 16 2013 Connective Goal Setting Session – Past Life

In our last session, we shared and discussed deeply about Past Life. What is Past Life Experience? To put it simply, a Past Life Experiences (PLE) is, or at least seems to be, memories of events, feelings and people that appear to come from before the present lifetime began. These experiences may be quite vivid, as if one were actually reliving them, or observational, as if one were watching a movie or leafing through a picture album. They often, almost always in fact, give us an insight into issues, problems or concerns of the current life.

Reincarnation Wheel

In the session, i have explained the Reincarnation Wheel in depth above.  Remember 20% destiny and 80% self-Mastery?  You are the Master of your own destiny. One must take full responsibility of your life. Know that you can make the changes you want in your life.

We then moved on to do a spread about your Past Life. This is a fourteen card spread which examines the querent’s past life.

We seem to come this space to learn our spiritual lessons and accumulate or resolve our karma with our soul groups. I always feel its utmost important to unlock the root cause of your current life problems. A trauma or unresolved issue in our past lives will be carried on to the current life and recreated into current life’s relationship, health of career problems. Past life Experience can help you to identify the root cause of your current life problem or issue, and healing will take place to resolve it.

July 2013 Connective Goal Setting Session – Will I find True Love?

tRUE lOVE

Dear Connectors,

Many people ask ”how do I find love”? There are many affectionate, kind and wonderful people who are single – and wish they weren’t. So why can’t you find them? Why haven’t you been able to find the love you’ve always wanted? You can. You can escape the loneliness, the hurt, the pain – you can find love. You just need a little more information.

The first secret is to understand what true love actually is! It’s not quite the love you tend to see around you, in most books, on television and at the movies. Rather it’s the highest form of love, where you’re so connected with someone that loving is easy, serene, caring – true. Some people call it finding your soul mate and to even deeper connection – Twin Flame.

In our last sharing, we went in deeper, connecting with oneself. We uses the Seven Card Tarot spread to help us connects to our inner voice. Some of the questions addressed as follows:

1. Will I ever find true love?
2. Will the attraction be instant or a slow-burning realization?
3. What will this person be like physically?
4. What will this person be like emotionally?
5. Are there issues I needs to deal with that are delaying a meeting/relationship with this person?
6. Are there issues this person needs to deal with that are preventing a meeting/relationship?
7. When/where/how will I meet this person?

Up until recently most people, including scientists, believed love was about chemistry and the interaction of molecules and hormones within you. Chemicals forced you to act in certain ways and create what you perceived as love. But we all know that when you text or speak to your lover on the phone those molecules don’t cross space and trigger a chemical reaction. We now know there’s something more powerful involved.

Science now shows that those chemicals are set in motion by electromagnetic signaling, or what you might simply think of energy.

This echoes how we each know that we should look beyond the physical to find true love.

When you’re ‘in love’ your energies – such as those measured by your brain and heart waves – as well as those chemicals, emotions, thoughts and actions are focused and flowing together in one direction.

This is a little like a laser, which brings together and amplifies waves of light energy to make a powerful and illuminating beam that’s stronger than the individual light waves on their own.

So now you know that love is, ultimately, energy!

You are no longer at the mercy of those chemicals and don’t have to wait until you bump into someone else whose chemicals interact well with yours to experience love. You have more control than you realize over love! Once you understand the power of love you can then do something about it.

July 2013 Connective Goal Setting Session – Wish For a Partner

Dear Connectors,

Once upon a time, little girls were told fairy tales about handsome princes with magical kisses who would ride up on a white stallion and whisk them away to the land called Happily Ever After. Then reality struck. The white stallion was a beat-up old car and the prince turned out to be a jerk. Happily Ever After seemed to be a never, Neverland.

Does it sounds familiar? 

We all wishes for our Twin Flame or Soul Mate but sometimes may not be a smooth journey. 

Then one smart princess decided to do some research. She discovered prayers, meditations, intentions and rituals Potent enough to manifest anything and everything her heart desired.
First she used it to get a parking space. Next she started a business and built a big, fun career.  Finally she used all her manifestation tools to land a soul mate. Not just any soul mate; the best soul mate ever! And in the process she discovered that happily ever after is really possible after all. Its all about the 3As: Attitude, Awareness and Actions. 

She is happily married with her high school classmate, both of them working toward growing old together lovingly and peacefully.

In our 12th July class, we have engaged  “Wish For a Partner” Spread for guidance – Will my desire for a partnership have a chance in the next six months? We integrated Tarot readings with Numerology and  Colour cards to our readings. The objective is to have awareness on this aspect of our life, working towards what we need to, paying attention to our Attitude towards how we deal with situations, events or people.

We will continue our next class with more learning.
