13th Feb 2016 Connective Session: Perspectives

With the Live Connective musical notes played by Katherine, we started checking out what lies ahead of us in the next 15 days with the help of our tarot cards through our healing music meditation

We all have our own personal path in life.

Our careers, our relationships, our spiritual path , our goals, our friendships , our material needs… Each decision we make is unique to ourselves.

But if there’s one thing we all have in common, it’s that no matter how different our paths may be, we’re all ultimately aiming for the same thing…

To experience more happiness and bliss.

But what elements of our lives contribute most to our happiness?

In 1960, Jung was interviewed by journalist Gordon Young, who asked, “What do you consider to be more or less basic factors making for happiness in the human mind?”
Jung answered:
“1. Good physical and mental health.
2. Good personal and intimate relationships, such as those of marriage, the family, and friendships.
3. The faculty for perceiving beauty in art and nature.
4. Reasonable standards of living and satisfactory work.
5. A philosophic or religious point of view capable of coping successfully with the vicissitudes of life.”
I find that the more mindful I am about happiness, the happier I become. Take the five factors Jung outlined above. By deliberately seeking to strengthen those elements of my life, I make myself happier.

In the second part of our soul nourishment, we were offered a meditative “meal”. This meditative meal is prepared by an Old Friend. Who is this Old Friend? Well, some of us called this old friend “ My Soul , A more matured and wiser ME” , An old man and even the previous life soul….” all these names are merely “Names”… Names are not important, what’s important are the essence of these “names” – these “Forms.”

After this meditative meal, Katherine hopes that all of you gained a new perspective of yourself.
Most of us struggle with seeing things from a different perspective. And many of us have to really work to view ourselves in a new light or give ourselves positive feedback. Kath hopes that by sharing this meditative “meal”, it will make it easier for you to pat yourself on the back and widen your horizons. It certainly has for me.

Namaste! Till our next gathering.

Who we are and What we do?

Our twice monthly Soul Nourishment Gatherings are categorised into four parts:

  1. The Awakening Series
  2. The Re-Alignment / Re-Imprinting Series
  3. The Power Booster Series
  4. The Integration Series

Katherine is committed to the transformation and evolution of human consciousness. This consciousness transformation arises through the integration of ancestral wisdom, which mirrors the evolutionary teaching of life itself. This is done in a supportive environment where people can voluntarily immerse in a guided process of self-realization.

The tools, practices and rites of passage that are cultivated within the sacred container of such a process allow each individual to resolve their cultural conditioning and uncover their unique existential qualities, talents and skills. From this realization, new ways are uncovered of harmoniously channeling and cultivating these gifts within a social community setting.

Being supported in the actualization journey of one’s true self while simultaneously supporting others reflects the symbiotic quality of Nature, which we are all a part of. This is a core value of Katcova. Being a conscious, responsible, open-hearted human being in a human body is the key to the blossoming of life on our planet.

10th Jan 2016 Connective Session: Emotion Peeling Process

2016 is going to be an important year of healing for our planet. Let’s all step into the role of a healer and start healing ourselves first. When we feel bliss, our mama earth will too be healed in some level, for we are part of this integrated system together.

Would you like to know your shadow side? Would you like to know how to integrate and cherish unwanted aspects of yourself? Would you like to follow your bliss?

In our gathering, we dived deep into our psyche, find our shadow side and Katherine gave practical advise on how to integrate it and heal ourselves to feel whole again. We used the tarot cards to find our blockages and Katherine advise us to follow our bliss in life.

We have experienced shifts of frequencies thereby shifting our thoughts and energy patterns through our session. Katherine worked to remove deep core emotional blockages in everyone through the support from our Universe. Kath is humbled and honoured of this gift.

Emotional healing is never linear but is likened to peeling an onion.

In the healing process, Katherine guided on what the tarot card is showing us. From the most basic level, we worked deep into our psyche to find our shadow side and what are our blockages and then worked on each consciousness level. This is a process Katherine termed as “Emotion Peeling” Process. Every layers of peeling is similar to “emotion surgery and applying of medication on your emotional wounds”. Kath guarantees that everyone can be healed and will recover back with Love , Joy and Peace. The only catch is We Must Allow the healing to take place.

We started the session with “THE DISSOLVING SHADOWS MEDITATION”

“Why would you want to do this”
Because the Shadow Feminine represents all those parts of ourselves that we hide away because we don’t feel good enough, shameful, ugly etc. But she is persistent and she doesn’t like being suppressed, so she will show up in your life as the Saboteur, the Crazy Maker or the Drama Queen.
When we meet with the Shadow Feminine she provides us with an opportunity to dig beneath the surface, find our beauty, our strengths and our gifts; and in doing so we set ourselves free from being afraid of our shadow.
Meeting and embracing the Shadow Feminine is one gorgeous stepping in reclaiming and owning our Personal Power!

The shadow’s only purpose is to define who and what you are by being what you are not. That is its only purpose. Once that purpose has been fulfilled and you feel your soul again then the shadow can and must dissolve.

You must now live your True Self. The perfect Soul.

Shadows are not you. They are not who you are.
You are Light, You are Peace , Love, Joy, Goodness and this Soul. You are true and honest Light of God, This is what you are in your everyday life. You must honestly be true to yourSelf. Never sublimate, hide from or deny these shadows again always. Look at them honestly and dissolve them immediately.

Trust that all of you have a meaningful and nourishing time together with Kath again.

Namaste! Om !

With Love & Hugs.

19th Dec 2015 Connective Session: Shadow Attributes

Its great to catch up with all of you again after 3.5months break.

We had the chance to discuss on the subject ” Shadow Attributes” or what the common folks called “Inner Darkness”.

Facing and embracing your inner darkness has nothing to do with becoming evil. It is also not an impossible task that will overwhelm and destroy you. It’s looking at all you, and only you can embrace all of you. One of the biggest problems many of us face come from running from our inner darkness. Some people go to great lengths to do all kinds of good deeds to try to erase, counterbalance, or avoid their darkness, but wherever you go, there it is. When unconfronted, the darkness thrives. It exists precisely because we don’t look at it. That is the nature of the dark. It is the absence of the light. Just start to turn and look at it, and already it is evaporating.

In psychology, the dark side of human nature is often described as the alter ego, the id, or the lower self. The great Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung called it the “shadow.” By shadow, he meant the negative side of the personality, the sum total of all those unpleasant qualities that we would prefer to hide.

Kath leveraged on Ghetto Tarot (a photographic interpretation deck) to guide us to interpreting our shadows. We then went on to understanding our shadows and how to dissolve these shadows through the guidance of the tarot.

By knowing our shadows, we created awareness of it. Then we should acknowledged and faced it courageously.

5 Tips For Facing Your Shadows

  1. Get an outside perspective. Many people are so mired in their beliefs that they have no perspective about themselves or how they influence other people. This is good time to ask for outside perspectives from friends and family. You will also have to learn how to listen to criticism, which is always a worthwhile spiritual practice.
  2. Journal. Now, that you have some more perspective, it’s time to sit down and consider what people are telling you about how you act and how you treat others. Why do you act that way? Why do you treat others the way you do? These are some starter questions to get you going.
  3. Be vulnerable. There’s no comfortable way to be uncomfortable, and a lot of those painful feelings are going to make you feel intensely vulnerable. Lean into this discomfort and see what you find.
  4. Keep breathing. Especially when some old pain and trauma starts surfacing, it’s easy to let the ego-self convince us that we’re being overwhelmed and can’t handle it. Keep breathing. Focus even more on your breathing the more intense the emotion coming up. Emotions are always in motion, so they will pass, possibly making space for a new self discovery.
  5. Find help. If you really are struggling, this is why spiritual healers, therapists, psychologist, psychiatrists, and spiritual teachers exist. Asking for help can be a really important step in facing things that feel too frightening to look at on your own.

In our future sessions, we will continue to listen deeply to our souls so that we start setting goals in total alignment with what our SOUL is craving for.

We will continue to discuss topics that will nourished our limited time on earth. Am sure all of you will emerged everyday as more innovative and successful CREATOR of your life.

Namaste.

With Love & Hugs.

06th Sept 2015 Connective Session: Self-Awakening

Thanks for your time with Kath on the 06th Sept 2015 . I am humbled. Thanks Universe and all angels for supporting our learning.

Kath shared so many stuffs. However, the highlights are:

1) Awakening Series – Auto Correction Mechanism 1: “You can have anything you want as long as you don’t need it.”

Need is a fear based energy and anything that comes from need is actually rooted in a sense of lack within you. You cannot—with true satisfaction—manifest what you love when you are in need, or therefore, in the lack of the very thing you desire. When you remember that, you’ll allow things to come to you rather than chase things.

Important minor detail: when you are in need of something, or driving a desire out of fear, it’s not that it won’t manifest because it will, but you will still feel a sense of lack or need, or insecurity of now losing what’s been manifested. You would have experienced this somewhat like when you set out on a goal and you complete it and think to yourself, “is that it?”
The problem: Needing something that you would otherwise love out of fear or lack.

The solution: Rather than focusing on what you desire when you feel a need for something, focus on all the things you do have in your life right now, feel abundant in that, and give space to your desire until the need drops away.

Sometimes you have to be patient, but when the need melts away by focusing on what you already have, you will realize you’re more abundant than you thought, and you can re-connect with what you originally desired out of a pure love rather than need.

2) Awakening Series – Auto Correction Mechanism 2: “You want something in life, ask for it — but from within your heart first.”

It’s not as important to ask another for what you desire as it is to connect with the feeling of love that you have for something. If you are in your heart, then you’re in an open energy, which is the energy of receiving. It’s when you’re open that you attract more possibilities in your life.

And actually, you don’t really “attract” more possibilities! You merely realize that those possibilities have always and will always be there, when you’re open because openness is love and love is infinite.

The problem: Asking for something that you may, or may not, deserve will get you results ONLY sometimes.

The solution: “Don’t look for why you don’t have, look for why you deserve to have.”
If you can focus on the feeling of why you love something with your whole heart, you will feel as though you already have it. When you are one with something, it’s yours. First feel it in your heart, then be patient as you realize you deserve it the more you connect with the feeling of love for it.
NOTE: You don’t need to believe in yourself, or become a deserving person; the way you deserve something is by loving it completely.

The truth is that it’s impossible for you not to have what you truly love. Love is an infinite energy; and it’s your natural state of being.

The next part of our gathering, Kath also shared her thoughts on some questions on spirituality and the so many “Whys.” queried from the participants.

Pondering Questions:

  • What is the purpose of spiritual enlightnment?
  • What is the purpose of leaving the Source and going back to the Source?
  • What happens after we attain enlightenment?

Well, Katherine does not have any “right” answers or a matter of fact, there isn’t any right answers but more of what’s connected to individual souls, nonetheless, she shared her thoughts and ideas.

For Katherine, she choose to live life SIMPLY. Just Breath and that’s IT. Life as IT IS. I am IT. IT is IT. IT is I AM. I AM is I AM. PERIOD.

Orange Squeeze Experience

Finally, we ended with our ORANGE SQUEEZE and Juice FEAST.
When you squeeze an orange, you get orange juice because that’s what inside. When someone puts the pressure on you and out of you comes anything other than love, it’s because that’s what you’ve allowed to be inside. Once you take away all those negative things you don’t want in your life and replace then with love, you’ll find yourself living a highly functioning life.

For the next 3 months, Katherine will be out for explorative travels.

We shall meet again on December 2015.

Namaste!

29th August 2015 Connective Session: Self-Alignments

Part 1: Our Alignment Tool – Mantra

In the last connective gathering, Kath shared one of a Alignment Tool: Mantra

Mantra in Sanskrit means tool or instrument of the mind. Mantra are short repeated words or sayings that can be used as a form of relaxation or meditation. They can be simple sounds like “Om” or can be longer sayings, such as: “I breathe in. I breathe out.”

Practicing Mantra can calm one’s mind. We encouraged all to create your own mantra and chant at least 07 times or 108 times if you have the time.

Kath also shared the one-word Mantra – “Shima”

Shima” is a Hopi word meaning “love”. Hopi is a tribe of Native American people. This mantra is about loving everyone in this world.

Part 2: Vibrational Range

When you visualise to overcome something that is wrong, your thoughts are diluted with the “lackful” side of the equation. In time, your physical condition will acquiesce to your dominant thoughts. There is a vibrational frequency range of our thoughts.

Everything about your life is coming to you in response to the focus of your thoughts.
As you imagine and visualize and verbalize your new story, in time you will believe the new story, and when that happens, the evidence will flow swiftly into your experience.

The Law of Attraction is responding to your thought, not to your current reality. When you change the thought, your reality must follow suit. If things are going well for you, then focusing upon what is happening now will cause the well-being to continue, but if there are things happening now that are not pleasing, you must find a way of taking your attention away from those unwanted things.

You have the ability to quickly change your patterns of thought, your vibrational range varies and eventually… your life experience.

Every subject could be seen as 2 subjects – “what is wanted” and the “lack of what is wanted.”
Each subject Has a Varied Vibrational Range. So merely focusing upon the subject, or idea, of money is but the beginning of necessary focusing, molding of the vibrational energy, required to bring money to your experience. You need to aware where are you at the vibrational range by understanding your emotions and how you feel. You get what you feel about when you think about!
What is actually happening in your experience relative to the subject of money always matches the essence of your vibrational offering. Observing what is manifesting, or happening to you, can give you accurate reading of where you are on the vibrational scale BEFORE things manifest.

Try this Exercise

Take 15 minutes daily, thinking of pleasant scenarios regarding your body, with the sole intent of enjoying your body and appreciating its strength and stamina and flexibility and beauty. When you visualize for the joy of visualizing rather than with the intention of correcting some deficiency, your thoughts are more pure and, therefore, more powerful.

We shall meet again next gathering.

Namaste!

26th July 2015 Connective Session: Triggers and Vortex

In our latest gathering, we shared about our Triggers.

We’re surrounded by all types of triggers. You see a favourite snacks and your saliva ticks; the sight of a stapler invokes all the stresses of work; looking at that one book always gives you ideas. These triggers prime a response in your brain for all types of habits. Giving your environment an overhaul—with your triggers in mind—can make you more productive, happier, conscious expansion and goal oriented.

Identifying your triggers is key.

Take a moment to notice any strong negative emotion you’re experiencing. If you’re not feeling anything negative now, congratulate yourself, and then think about the last time you were upset. Whether your unpleasant feelings are present or past, don’t judge or resist them. Send your memory backward in time to find the moment when you switched from “okay” to “not okay.” Did you begin feeling bad at breakfast this morning? While going to bed last night?

You won’t even think to identify your trigger until after it’s pulled. But with continued attention, you’ll start recognizing triggers sooner, and one day, even as you’re firing off shouts or tears, part of you will be saying, “Oops, there I go again.” You’ll then have a choice: Continue to blast, or put the safety on your psyche.

Throughout our last gathering, Kath mentioned many times about being in alignment with our vibrational vortex.

So what’s is Vortex?

The vortex is alike to alignment to Source energy. (Or whatever you call Universe, God, All That Is, etc.)

Being in the vortex means you’re at one with who you really are, you’re feeling fab, and in vibrational alignment to your desires. It’s represented by feelings like enthusiasm, inspiration, passion, joy, and appreciation.

Being out of the vortex means you’re energetically kinked, not letting in the good stuff you’ve been calling in. It often feels frustrated, hopeless, fearful, or angry.

Being in the vortex means you’re experiencing the kind of alignment that fosters magic and miracles. It’s where you get inspired answers to your questions. It’s where things come together beautifully. It’s where you feel on top of the world!

You can tell whether you’re in or out of the vortex based on how you feel. When you feel good, you’re in. When you feel crappy, you’re not in.

The vortex is also where you want to take action from. That “aligned” state is a great time to make the phone calls, place the orders, sign the agreements, say “I do,” create the business plan, etc.

Because if you do anything outside the vortex, it’s not likely to pay off in ways you’d prefer.

So getting in is pretty important for having a life of ease and flow like deliberate creators know it can be.

Are you in your vortex today?

Katherine Goh

Lessons learnt when i pay my last respect to Mr Lee Kuan Yew

Since one of my watsapp friend told my husband and me now that paying our last respect to Mr Lee Kuan Yew is operating 24hrs in the parliament, we decided perhaps should go and pay our last respect to our First Prime Minister. Flooded with media that Mr Lee was our founding father, i feel a more appropriate and sensitive way to address Mr Lee Kuan Yew, he was one of our founding fathers instead. I read that there are other founding fathers of our nation as well besides Mr Lee. See the shot shown below. The so-called “Big 5” ministers of Singapore’s founding Cabinet members in 1959.

IMG_7790

We left home about 1.45am on 26th mar 2015, thinking should had lesser crowds as its in the wee hours. But No !
Arrive boat quay around 2am. While searching for the queue start point, we met a nice couple asking us if we are going to Parliament House and should join the queue at Hong Lim park. This is my first contact of “One consciousness” in this urban city for such a long time.

I was amazed and proud of the orderly queueing manner of Singaporeans. Not much people “cut queue” except for a very very small minority throughout the 2.5hrs queuing.

Bottled drinks and strawberry buns were given out along the queue-route.

The queue no longer was as reported like yesterday afternoon that needed to queue for 6-8hrs.I think we were lucky. It’s was a breezy night. I took the opportunity to re-look at our financial hub in this night. It was a peaceful night. So much has changed in this part of Singapore where I used to work there some 17 years ago.

My husband commented we were actually walking down the path of LKY.

The route: Hong Lim Park- OCBC Centre- Singapore Land Tower- Bank Of China- Fullerton Hotel- Cavenach Bridge – Victoria concert hall – Singapore River – Civilisation Museum-Parliament House.

Photo below: Half-Mast at Fullerton Hotel

Normally, I would not have the chance to walk along this route. This time I took the opportunity to stop by, reflect, read some of the statues’ descriptions and even saw Deng Xiao Ping Figurine at Singapore River. I feel that although I am a Singaporean, I have not understand deep enough of my nation. Somehow, I took Singapore and Mr Lee for granted. At this moment, I am deep with gratitude for all that he had done for Singapore, both right or wrong.

When we were nearer to the last stop, there are condolences cards and pens available for those of us who wants to write our condolences messages. We wrote ours briefly.

Photo: The last stop outside parliament house

IMG_7788

We were then directed to the area for inspection; checks on our bags. (Tips: As there will be security checks, it is also advisable not to carry too many items, to cut down waiting time and ensure a smooth flow of the queue.)

Photo: Half-Mast at The Parliament House

FullSizeRender_1

Honestly, all came a little fast. Before I knew it, I am already inside Parliament House and the photo of Mr Lee was not far.

There were bodyguards and ushers around and one officer kept on saying: “move forward… Move Forward…” As I walked, I bowed 3 times… But it was just too fast to process any thoughts… My thoughts only started to conjure when I am out of the entrance door. And there I saw queue waiting to enter the Parliament House for their turn.  The snake-like queue do not seemed to stop forming since 25th March 2015 and may just be like this till the 29th March 2015.

Although, I felt it was just too fast for me to pay my last respect to Mr Lee but based on mathematical calculations, this has to be the way. Imagine 4 millions people going to pay their last respect within 4 days? Say 1 million people per day, that will be 41,666 people an hour and 1736 people in a minute..that is an enormous figures.

So what are the lessons i learned ?

1) The Unity of ONE Singaporeans; One Nation. I feel it in the air…in the gestures of Singaporeans.

2) A world-class civilised Singaporeans. Look at our orderly peaceful queue. Period!

3)An efficient Singapore. Look at how fast rest stops were setup along the routes, complimentary drinks and buns were given..

4) A continuous learning and willingness to change for the better attitude. Always fine-tuning to better systems. Look at the decisions to operate 24hrs public transport system or the 24hrs opening of the Parliament House for public to pay their last respect to Mr Lee and a separate lane for those on wheelchairs, who are pregnant, with special needs, and families with young children and elders .

Honestly, there were decisions of Mr Lee that I do not agree, such as his autocratic leadership, too much control over his people and nation medias alike or his imprisonment over his opponents without trial, etc. But no doubts, the results of Singapore today shows what was the best for Singapore at his time. And he did what was necessary for the best of our Singapore at that time. Who am I to say he was right or wrong? He understands Singapore deeper and wider than I did. Period.

Mr Lee will lives in the hearts of all Singaporean. He will continue to be our learning mentor through the wisdom he left for us. He left us with systems – systems of values of meritocracy, multi-racialism and non-corruptibility and SIngaporean should built the foundations laid by our pioneers.

Now, my concern as like many younger generations Singaporeans are: What will be the future of our nation? How can we do our part to continue building a better Singapore? Providing Singaporeans and our future generations a better sustainable lives?

As I am writing this, I don’t know. All I know is if Singaporeans are United, Strong, Determined, Never Give Up Attitude, Flexible and always look out for better ways to improve ourselves (not being complacent), WE, Singaporeans will Stand Tall and live the Spirit of Mr Lee Kuan Yew.

31st Jan 2015 Connective Session: Stop Trying to learn

Good Day Angels of Light,

It was awesome to gather with all of you again last saturday.

We have invested our time to connect and appreciate the following concept: Stop Trying to learn

Life is not a school. We are here not to learn but to Create. The deepest secret is that life is not a process of discovery, but a process of creation. You are not discovering yourself, but creating yourself anew. Seek, therefore, not to find out Who You Are, seek to determine Who You Want to Be.

Life (as you call it) is an opportunity for you to know experientially what you already know conceptually. You need learn nothing to do this. You need merely remember what you already know, and act on it.

Your job on Earth, therefore, is not to learn (because you already know), but to remember Who You Are. And to remember who everyone else is.

Our life has nothing to do with self-discovery. And we have nothing to learn. Stop looking all over the place for “the answers” – whatever they are – and start looking for the questions – the inquiries which are most important in our life- and give them answers.

Katherine Goh

25th Jan 2015 Connective Session: Mediation and The Money Game

Good day Beings of the flow…

Meditation helps us to quieten our mind. Allow us a space to relax and surrender with ease. Everyone should commit to at least once in a day to meditate even if it’s just for 1 min. Let’s make it our passion together to reach inwards to ourselves.

We then invested our time to share about the thought: Rest and Relax. The True surrender. Through the cycles of meeting with basic Space – as the element in which All Exists- we learn not only to dare to surrender- and die into this Space, but to relax and embrace fully the rest in the Blackness of non-existence and the Peace which is it. To truly awaken, the passion of Life needs to turn towards the silence of Space.

The third part of our time we discussed – “In fact, you have this root thought about just about everything. There’s not enough money, there’s not enough time, there’s not enough love, there’s not enough food, water, compassion in the world….. whatever there is that’s good, there’s just not enough.”

This race consciousness of “not-enough-ness” creates and recreates the world as you see it. It is time now to adopt a New Thought about all this.

We should re-programmed our mind to reach out to

Concept 1: There’s enough

Concept 2: Turn around your life by turning around your values.

Till our next meetup.

Passionately Sharing,

Katherine Goh
