Has it ever happened that you achieve something great but then feel empty afterwards? Many times, we believe we will be happy and fulfilled once we finish a project, find our soul mate, or win the prize only to discover that after the initial excitement settles, a tremendous emptiness sets in. A feeling of, Well, now what?
While there are few certainties in life, one thing is always sure: Each and every one of us is capable of accomplishing so much more than what we have so far.
That means, no matter what.
We can all do even greater things, but the first step is knowing that we can and we will.
We must keep growing and expanding our capacity for greatness. Because whether we are fifteen or fifty-five, whatever we have accomplished so far in our lives is just the tip of the iceberg.
Here is a affirmation which you can affirm each day: ( Preferably to recite when you are doing your meditation or mastery breath)
ENOUGH IS NEVER ENOUGH
I will not settle for less, in any area of my life. I want everything that is possible.
I let go of any darkness and doubts that prevent me from having it all, including eternal happiness and peace on earth.
All things wonderful are possible, and I will make them a part of my daily existence.
When we think of addictions, we usually think of them in the physical sense, like smoking or gambling for instance; but the addictions that give us the greatest challenge exist well below the surface and are not as easy to see.
All of us have below the surface addictions that include: Approval, Recognition, Attention, Enabling Others, Control, Chaos, Anger, and Judgment.
Which of these do you relate to most?
Your free will lets you decide if you want to be an addict to the Light or the addict to the Ego.
Being aware of our addictions below the surface will make it easier to resist them the next time there is an opportunity to forgo the quick fix in favor of earning the eternal joy that comes from being a Creator in your life.
Fears are like annoying relatives. You can’t avoid them forever, and ignoring them won’t make them go away. Everyone is afraid. I am, you are, everyone is! The only difference between you and the successful people you admire is that they are willing to work and move through their fears in order to get where they want to be.
If you don’t learn how to face your fear it will grip your mind, body, and spirit. It will wage a war against you and your dreams. Know this need not be. Once you understand how you can dissipate fear, it shrinks and is no longer a threat.
I always remind myself: If i am BIGGER than my obstacles, they are no more obstacles ahead of me. I know, its a very uncomfortable feelings. But trust me, make your first step, the ongoing steps are definitely easier.
The next time you’re in a scary place try the following exercises.
Journal your fears
Write about your fear and its origin. How has it held you back in the past? Set aside time and without judgment, reflect on what you’ve written. You will gain insight and loosen fears grip by observing it. When you write down your fear, fear loses its power over you.
Journal your past success
We tend to beat ourselves up when we fail and fail to celebrate when we succeed. Strengthen your belief in yourself by reflecting on each decade of your life and every success you’ve experienced. You can begin as early as age five when you learned how to ride a bike. Write it all down. You’ll be inspired, motivated and amazed by your list and how and can be used to face your fear.
Stop your story
Fear is an illusion. We make up frightening stories about our past and our future and rehearse them until we are terrified. Our stories are often about the pain of the past or the fear of the future. Change the fearful stories you tell yourself. You can find safety by learning to live in the present moment. You always have the option to create new stories filled with positive expectations of the future.
Believe in yourself
Focus your attention on being ready, willing, and prepared for the success, joy, wonder, connections, good fortune, and awesome circumstances that are yours if you are willing to work and be open to it. You deserve the best no matter what. Accept that fact about yourself.
Learn something new
Do you lack information or direction? Develop your intuition. Get a mentor. Join Toastmasters. Be a lifelong learner. Give it your all. Take action on what you learn. Fear fades in an environment of this kind.
Fear is a good barometer to gauge where we are in our level of comfort or discomfort. The more afraid that we become, the greater chance that we are getting out of our comfort zone and connecting with potential fulfillment.
Pick a fear that you have and make an effort to confront it this week. I find writing it down helps. In fact, write down when you’re going to confront it.
Let’s say you need to confront your boss about that raise you were promised, or maybe you have a fear of heights and have avoided flying for years. Become willing to be uncomfortable with the situation, become excited about it even, and face it!
Warning: This can require tremendous support and encouragement from others, and it may even take a few false starts before you have the courage to conquer it, so don’t get discouraged. But when you eventually conquer it, you will have transformed the fear into Light, into fulfillment. That’s our purpose!
I am dropping my ego and moving toward actual and lasting fulfillment. I will restrain my selfish longings as I ask for what my soul needs, not what my ego wants. Looking again, I want elevation for my soul, real transformation. I will restrict any tendencies toward negativity or complaining. I appreciate everything around me and reach into my soul at the deepest level to connect with real happiness and joy.
When difficulty arises, we can use the Kabbalistic tools we’ve been given to meditate, and then act with a higher state of awareness knowing that: This challenge is an indication that there is great amount of Light to be revealed here! I may not understand how yet, but I can make the effort to see why this opportunity has been given to me. I can choose, instead of reacting or worry, to continue the development of my soul. I can choose to not allow negativity in, and as I do this more and more, I will grow my certainty in the Light.
Indifferent to whether your mood is grumpy or cheerful, Nature always sings her passionate song of joyful celebration. You can never stop the happy song of life, so join the celebration – sing along, dance, make love, smile your biggest smile, and cheer on the music in your life. ~ KatherineG
3 weeks ago, i chanced upon an interesting group of passionate singers on the streets of Malaysia. Five boys came together (they just came to know each other on the spot) and started singing using simple yet powerful sounds tools. They allowed dedication songs by the passing people. Some of these people like me, were attracted by this group, stopped by and sat down to enjoy the songs.
Their simple powerful sound tools:
2 Mentos Sweet Boxes
1 empty wooden box
2 guitars
1 mineral bottle (should have some sweets inside the bottle)
Look at all of the lessons about life you can learn from these young teenagers, just from their actions in this video.
1. Find your passion These boys’ passion is Singing. For them, every day is a good day when they can indulge that passion and do what they love to do.
For me, my passion is creating positive stuffs, new ideas, etc…. I believe every day’s a good day when I CREATES POSITIVELY.
How about you? Every day’s a good day when you…what?
2. Listen to your heart One way to find your passion, if you don’t know it already, is to listen to and trust your heart.
Singing brings good thoughts to these boys’ hearts. From the way they sings, that’s how they know they love it, and why every day is a good day when they does it.
What are you doing when you notice good thoughts in your heart? That just might be what or who you are passionate about.
3. No limits For a passionate singer, there are no limits with a fresh piece of songs. Building happiness is a good thing.
And when we find our passion and listen to our hearts, there aren’t any limits to how much of it we can build in our own lives.
4. Indulge the moment
Live in the moment; indulge the moment; be passionate about whatever it is you’re doing.
Have a sense of love and enthusiasm for whatever it is you are engaged in.
Give it your all.
5. “Think like water”
I love this line.
Even when we’re following our passions, following our hearts, we can get too caught up in the moment. We can out-think our ability to do. Paralysis by analysis. But there are simple doorways for overcoming this. I’m just not sure I’ve ever heard it phrased more eloquently than “think like water.”
“Relax, let it flow, think like water…”. So true.
Indulge the moment, and flow with it. Let’s not get stuck in our own heads.
6. “Sing along”
Life is just better when you’re singing along. It is for me anyway.
In the car, at home around the house, while working…whatever. Singing, humming, whistling, it all just puts me in a good mood.
Do you sing along with your life?
7. Enjoy life Of course not every time in a life is meant to be a “good time,” per se. There are times when hard work is necessary, and it may not be fun. There will be times of sadness and struggle and strife.
But can’t we still enjoy life even during these more difficult times?
If we’re finding ways to bring good thoughts to our hearts, I think we can. We can certainly strive to anyway.
Life is meant to be enjoyed. Sometimes it just takes a more conscious effort to do so than we think. But it’s always worth it.
We can always make today a great day simply by breaking free from our habitual bubble.
What can you do today that would make it different from any other day? Sign up for a yoga class, speak to someone on the street, take a different route to work, ask the new employee in your office to lunch.
There is no end to the new grooves you can carve out for yourself today on the bicycle path of life.
