A reminder of the important things in life

The key to inner peace, well being and a fulfilling life may be simpler than we think…  : )

I came across a beautiful short clip today in Youtube…A two minute forty-three second video “A Reminder Of The Important Things In Life,” captures the core essence of the principles for living life with a full heart and spirit, and feeling fulfilled. So far, this is the best SIMPLE example of how to live life to the fullest. And simple IS best.

I’m often asked “why are you always so full of Joy?” “How is it you are always so happy?” “Where do you get those positive vibes?”

Some people falsely assume it’s because I have created financial freedom for myself and don’t need to worry about money (well, you always have money ‘challenges’ it’s just the number of zeros on the end of the ‘invoice’ that increases along with your wealth! You simple have better quality financial challenges.)

Others assume it’s because of things that are outside of myself.

(Really, nothing outside of us can MAKE us feel happy, sad or other-wise. These may trigger our internal belief systems and previous experiences and the meanings we (unconsciously) give them. (TRUTH is ALL emotion is an internally generated experience based on our beliefs and the meanings we attach to the experiences. We CAN CHOOSE the meanings.)

The truth is, I mostly live in an emotional state of Joy and Happiness by CHOICE, and regular mental and emotional conditioning.

Being open and learning to love ourselves and each other with kindness, compassion and gratitude enables us to feel a sense of inner peace and well being. It also enables us to regain something that many of us have seemingly lost — our sense of “connection”

May this short video be A REMINDER OF THE IMPORTANT THINGS IN LIFE…. and it really is this simple. Enjoy this clip and remember to embrace the important things in life.

Thoughts Become Movie – Become Our Life

Some may have long known that our thoughts shape what we perceive as reality every bit as much as reality shapes our thoughts. We are more than mere observers of reality – we are creators. It is we who produce and direct our own movie – the same movie in which we ourselves are the stars. What kind of movie would you like to create today? Love story? Comedy? Drama? You have the CHOICE!

Be Conscious of your thoughts

You may have noticed that when you think positively, you tend to feel more relaxed and energetic. When you are upset, you are more likely to feel tired and lazy. These sensations are not coincidental. The way we think—our attitudes and outlook on life—strongly affects our physical state. Taking an effort to think positively, even if doing so feels like a strain, is vital to keeping your body healthy.

Into our Deeper Self

When you listen to a thought, you are aware not only of the thought but also of yourself as the witness of the thought. A new dimension of consciousness has come in. As you listen to the thought, you feel a conscious presence – your deeper self- behind or underneath the thought, as it were. The thought then loses its power over you and quickly subsides, because you are no longer energizing the mind through identification with it. This is the beginning of the end of involuntary and compulsive thinking.

When a thought subsides, you experience a discontinuity in the mental stream, like a gap of “no-mind”. When these gaps occur, you feel a certain stillness and peace inside you. You will also feel a subtle emanation of joy arising from deep within: the joy of Being.

Feb 2012 Connective Goal Setting Session

Hello Goal Setters,

Its my pleasures to facilitate our February self-connective session. I would like to highlight the following important discussion we had in the class. They are

  • Self-Confidence – Self-Confidence is the key to attracting the life you want.
  • (Limiting) Fear
  • Self-Importance
  • Desire
  • Love

Self-Confidence

Self confidence is really a feeling or belief in your powers and abilities. Your perception of yourself has an enormous impact on how others perceive you. Perception is reality — the more self confidence you have, the more likely it is you’ll succeed.  To gain self- confidence, do self-confidence exercise to challenge yourself to take a risk to confront a situation you’ve been avoiding. For example, if you have been avoiding social situations because you tend to be awkward and shy, challenge yourself to attend one event and meet one person.  Be sure to include your own observations of your progress. If you deal with a stressful event in a positive or successful way, write it down.

(Limiting) Fear

Fear! We always have it. Fact is, there is always somebody somewhere who is afraid of something at any given point in time. Sometimes our fears could serve as a natural way of protecting us from hidden or unseen dangers even as the world we live in continues to grow more and more dangerous and the things and people we are afraid of continues to multiply but if the truth must be told, sometimes our fears are completely baseless or unfounded.

Here are a few time-tested approaches you can take to master your fears so that they do not seem larger than what they really are:

  1. Did anyone say Change is the ONLY CONSTANT? Acceptance of change as the way of life.
  2. Dissolve fear with knowledge. If fear of the unknown is a shadow, then knowledge is the light that illuminates it. Rather than taking your fears at face value and believing in them, verify whether they are truly justified.
  3. Trusting yourself (instincts) – You have what it takes! Believe it or not, all of us already have what it takes to handle most, if not all, life situations that come our way. But often fears as well as ignorance and self-limiting thoughts get in our way and prevent our innate abilities from showing through.
  4. Take the First Step: Muster enough courage to take the first step. Be willing to stretch your comfort zone, realizing that is how we grow. When you are feeling discomfort in a situation, you know you are growing. It is the process that is more important than the ultimate destination.

Self-Importance (Self Love)

Many of us interprets Self-importance with Ego or an inflated feeling of pride in your superiority to others. I would like to share another perspective of this word. Self-important is also link with Self-Love. Only if you feel that you are important, then you can feel the importance of others. You must have know how to love yourself before you can love others, otherwise one would experience “sacrificial love” which in my opinion doesn’t exists. Giving and Receiving is the cycle of continuing energy. Only when you have something then you can give It.

Desire

Desire is an emotion. It is a sense of longing for a person or object or hoping for an outcome. Desire can be positive or negative depending on its roots.  We have definitely shared more in the class and some sharing are meant to be private so i will not elaborate more here.

Love

This planet requires an abundance of love, especially unconditional love, to heal and restore the beauty contained in every moment. Love is the only Way to create the Balance Energy in our Universe.  Love is a chemical state of mind that’s part of our genes and influenced by our upbringing.  That’s why we, Human are make up of Love. We need to be a complete Being by orbiting in love.

Ok, that’s it. We will continue to explore below topic in our next class on March 7th at 4pm.

  • Enlightened Relationships
Assignments
Pick out “Love” energy cards in your decks (should be in even number), with placement as i have mentioned in class and meditate on the vibration of LOVE.

Designing Life / Life Plan

Most People Spend Their Lives Earning A Living Rather Than Designing Their Lives.

I am a busy Happy entrepreneur, wife, blogger, author, energy healer, trainer and adventure travel leader. I play a lot of roles. I’ll bet you do, too. I am often asked, “How do you get it all done? Where did you get all the energies? Where did you get the time?”

Two Words: Designing Life / Life Plan

Sadly, I have met very few people who have a plan for their life. Most are passive spectators, watching their lives unfold, one day at a time. They are reactive rather than proactive. They may plan their careers, their wedding reception, the renovation of a new home, or even a vacation. But it never occurs to them to plan their life.

Why do you need a life plan or designing your life? Three reasons:

  1. It will give you CLARITY about where your life is headed.
  2. It will keep you in BALANCE when things get crazy.
  3. It will give you PEACE of mind, knowing you are addressing those aspects of your life that matter most.

My greatest earnings of being an entrepreneur which i started out at the age of 22 was earning the opportunity to RE-DESIGN  my life the way i want it.

By designing my life, i learnt about those aspect of my life that REALLY matters to me. Its never the money. Never was! But money is the by-product of freedom. It is my FREEDOM. My freedom of speech, freedom of choice, freedom to ADVENTURE. Life is an adventure ;an experiential transformation. Life is a Connection to oneself ; to our Universe, to all Beings.

If you are connected to this article, the TIME has come for you to DESIGN your life now.

Activity to start designing your life:

  1. Awareness: Feel and ask yourself what matters to you NOW?

Top 5 Regrets people have on their deathbed

  1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
  2. I wish I didn’t need to work so hard.
  3.  I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings
  4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
  5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

Imagine if you are now designing your life, you would not have those regrets listed above. Because you have deep awareness of what you want yourself to be and will be TAKING ACTIONS towards them.

“Dreams & Reality”

Its just one of the “ladies nites” and we headed down to National Museum for an hour recital and was elated to find ourselves immersed in so many great master-arts pieces. There was a “Dreams & Reality” music exhibition held in our National Museum. A few art pieces caught my attention. One of them was the painting by Vincent Van Gogh – Starry Starry Night.

Above is the original painting of Starry starry night painting by vincent van gogh. In my personal opinion, The Eleven stars in the paintings reflected both spiritual and emotional aspects. Eleven in numerology has the interpretation of self inter-link(deeper meaning of self)… The stars in the night sky are surrounded with their own orb of light, suggesting that we should look for the illuminating light within us.

In the bottom right corner of the painting there is a couple walking along the river, suggesting that we, Beings need a companion to share our life conversations, experiences and feelings. This gives the painting a realistic feel with a natural quality. there are structures in the distant lit up in a warm glow of light.

Van Gogh’s artistic legacy is contained within his paintings, drawings and writings. They are everlasting and will never “forget” the style that created them. They are Van Gogh’s eyes that watch the world.

Dreams and reality are such contrasting tones in life, however so resemblance in their energy densities. Life Expressions indeed.

Below is the song by Don Mclean on Vincent’s life (Starry Starry Night)

Be the Boxer in your life

Life’s tests don’t come when we’re prepared for them. They come when we’re not. How spiritual we are isn’t just about how much we smile or share – it’s also what we do when we get tested.

One thing’s for sure: our inner opponent is never going to take us on when we are ready. One way to insure we make it through those trying moments is to conduct ourselves like boxers – keep hitting even when we’re hurt, and let our natural instincts take over.

The idea is to train our soul. To make our standard action an affirmative one. Start by making your small reactions more positive, and you’ll soon hold up when the big challenges come at you.

Learn to be the Boxer in your life.
