Rebirthing Meditation

The subconscious is the “storehouse of misery”. The reason we suffer and we cannot get out of old habits of negativity is that the subconscious is overloaded. Rebirthing meditations help unclog the subconscious so that your “home within yourself” will shine and be purified. “A stinking subconscious blocks every happiness in life. If your subconscious is totally cleared and clean you’ll be a lot happier and more effective than you are today”. One of the meditation that helps to clear our negativity in our subconscious is the Mountain Meditation. By picturing in your mind’s eye as best you can the most beautiful mountain that you know or have seen or can imagine. Just holding the image and feeling of this mountain in your mind’s eye, letting it gradually come into greater focus.

By becoming the mountain in our meditation practice, we can link up with its strength and stability and adopt it for our own. We can use its energies to support our energy to encounter each moment with mindfulness and equanimity and clarity. It may help us to see that our thoughts and feelings, our preoccupations, our emotional storms and crises, even the things that happen to us, are very much like the weather on the mountain. We tend to take it all personally but its strongest characteristic is impersonal. The weather of our own lives is not to be ignored or denied. It is to be encountered, honoured, felt, known for what it is and held in awareness. And in holding it in this way, we come to know a deeper silence, and stillness, and wisdom. Mountains have this to teach us and much more if we can come to listen.

Incorporating lovingkindness meditation as part of the rebirthing meditation supports our awareness practices too. Lovingkindness meditation also helps to align and heal us mentally, physically and emotionally.

So the next time you do rebirthing meditation which is mainly breath works, try incorporating Mountain and Lovingkindness meditation into it and notice how the effects are benefiting you.

Till the next time.

12th July 2015 Connective Session: Higher Self Connection

Last class, we are privileged to gather together discussed, learned and shared our experiences in connection with our Higher Self. Every gathering is so precious…a space for us to excel in our own pace and us acknowledging self-love is part of our growing process.

More people are now discovering that they have a Higher Self – an omniscient source of intelligence guiding their lives with meticulous care and wisdom, navigating the right people and situations into view for the highest and best learning potential, and perpetually trying to communicate directly through synchronicities, visions and dreams.

Those who make an accurate, stable connection with their Higher Self truly awaken the genius within – tapping into a limitless reservoir of creativity, intelligence and flawless guidance available to each and every person. Many times when we are tapped into our higher consciousness, we experience the “Ahas” moments.

Discovering the higher self is an important part of ascension, which has been depicted in many artistic ways.

Recap of our sharing:

  • Individual life & auric field updates + what to look out for till our next meeting.
  • Connecting to your Higher Self Meditation (pls do at least 2 times in a week)
  • The Poseidon Trident spread: Guidance on “The truth of who you are. “
<Connection to your Soul, Collaboration with your Physical Self , Completion of the Soul and Physical body>

Human Souls are made of Love. Compassion is one of our Earth work. ~kg

Katherine would love to share the Seven Advices epitomizes the highest sentiment of humanity, transcends religious boundaries, and encompasses the common values of all religions:

1. In generosity and helping others: be like the RIVER

2. In compassion and grace: be like the SUN

3. In concealing others’ faults: be like the NIGHT

4. In anger and fury: be like the DEAD

5. In modesty and humility: be like the SOIL

6. In tolerance: be like the OCEAN

7. Either you Appear as you are, or: be as you Appear.

I shall end with a poem by Charlie Chaplin on Self Love, “As I Began to Love Myself”

As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering
are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth.
Today, I know, this is “AUTHENTICITY”.

As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody
As I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time
was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though this
person was me. Today I call it “RESPECT”.

As I began to love myself I stopped craving for a different life,
and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow.
Today I call it “MATURITY”.

As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance,
I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens
at the exactly right moment. So I could be calm.
Today I call it “SELF-CONFIDENCE”.

As I began to love myself I quit steeling my own time,
and I stopped designing huge projects for the future.
Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, things I love to do
and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in
my own rhythm. Today I call it “SIMPLICITY”.

As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for
my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything that drew
me down and away from myself. At first I called this attitude
a healthy egoism. Today I know it is “LOVE OF ONESELF”.

As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right, and ever since
I was wrong less of the time. Today I discovered that is “MODESTY”.

As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past and worry
about the future. Now, I only live for the moment, where EVERYTHING
is happening. Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it “FULFILLMENT”.

As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me
and it can make me sick. But As I connected it to my heart, my
mind became a valuable ally. Today I call this
connection “WISDOM OF THE HEART”.

We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems
with ourselves or others. Even stars collide, and out of their crashing
new worlds are born.Today I know THAT IS “LIFE”!

November 2012 Connective Goal Setting Session: The Wheel: Light-Camera-Action

Hello Goal-Setters,

Our last session was refreshing and awakening. This is especially so when hidden information were presented to us to ponder, reflect and take positive action.

Those who attended definitely understood the Flow of Energy and Universe at work for us.

A few stuffs to note:

  1. Parameters: Preferably to be Major cards
  2. Events Row – Based on your DOB, reduce to single digits. (Pay special attention to corresponding numbers on deck and/or any major cards)
  3. Move according to the flow of Energy. “Think like Water; Feel like Ocean”

Concluding….

Taking action in your social circle means making the first step to improve your relationships. Do not wait for the other side to initiate it. If you already have a sense something could be better, and it always can, then it is your opportunity to do something about it. Do not try anything complicated. Simple, sincere approaches work the best. As they say: a kind word opens a heavy door. Be yourself – caring and considerate. Everyone needs understanding and support – the same as you. It is important to realize men need to feel responsible and women need to feel safe. In order to have a great personal relationship, give the other gender the opportunity to feel secure in these areas. So where do you fit in everyone else’s life? Just be yourself and share the wisdom you have gained from your own spiritual message and be the best example you can possibly be. Once you have clarified all of this, the only thing left is: lights, camera, action!

With Love & Light,

Katherine Goh

P/S: Our next session is schedule on Dec 5th at 4pm.

October 2012 Connective Goal Setting Session – Managing Relationship with Parents

Hello Goal-Setters,

Last class we have turned from Love for our partners to Love for our family. Sometimes, the challenge we faced in our love-life can be due to our deep connected wounds, fear, rejection or any negative feelings we received from our family members, especially our parents.

Family relationships are the foundation of your life. They provide you with some of your greatest growth opportunities as you are challenged to be better parents, spouses and Children.

Here are a few tips on how to manage any future challenges you may face as a family:

1. Be patient.

In love and in any relationship, patience is very necessary. It takes time for people to learn, grow and change. So whether it’s you, your spouse, your parents or one of your children who is struggling the most, everyone in the family needs to give that person, and the family as a whole, time to grow. People are often quick to throw in the towel or assume that something can’t be resolved, but when it comes to marriage, parenthood, Child-hood you owe it to yourself and your family members to give your relationships time to blossom.

2. Be creative.
Eventually, everyone struggles in their relationships and wonders what to do next. Often people assume a situation can’t be changed because what they tried didn’t work, when in fact, they still need to try something else. You have to be creative when it comes to thinking of new solutions to problems with your spouse, your parents or your children. Different things work for different people. So when one strategy doesn’t work, try another, until you find the one that works for you.

3. Be realistic.
Be aware that many of the problems discussed here are totally common and normal. Family life is full of unique challenges. So be realistic about the fact that you are always going to be “working” on some issue and facing some sort of obstacle. If you have a strong and loving family, you will understand and know that you can overcome each obstacle as it comes.

Life is not a destination, it’s a journey, and your family is that group of people who will travel the distance with you. As with all things, change is the only constant, so you will always be working to try new approaches and make things better. Embrace that challenge! Make your family relationships as strong as you can because at different times during the journey, you may struggle, and they can be the ones who will help you back up and keep you going (and you can do the same for them).

Hug it out!
My questions to you: What family relationship have you repaired recently? How did you reconnect?

I shall leave you with my favourite quote:

“I’ve learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you’ll miss them when they’re gone from your life.”

What’s the one thing you’re never gonna give up?

I sat down. I was Meditating. A question came to my presence. “What’s the one thing you’re never gonna give up?”. I feel within myself, in search for an answer ; I meditate on this question. I have an answer. That is LOVE.

Never give up on something that you can’t go a day without thinking about. For me, that is LOVE.

I am In Love everyday. From the moment i open my eyes in the mornings, i will anticipate my day with love. The Love for my Work, my husband, my family and friends…practically EVERYTHING. I gave my love to them and i felt the Love they have for me. I am bless. We are bless.

I’m not gonna give up Love. How about you? Ponder on this question and do share with me your thoughts.

With Love & Light,

August 2012 Connective Goal Setting Session – Love Thyself

Hello Goal-Setters,

This class we have attempted to look deep within ourselves. Most people feel alone at some points in their lives. Some people even have the feeling of abandonment. Perhaps, the feeling of abandoning yourself by yourself? Letting others taking control over you?

Sometimes the feelings are there for reasons that seem obvious and real, for example:

  • the aftermath of a painful break-up of a romantic relationship
  • a chronic health problem that seems to sap our vitality and makes us feel less fun to be with
  • unrequited love or passion, or simply wanting an intimate and sexual relationship and failing to find one
  • “the morning after” meaningless sex that did not deliver the emotions you hoped for
  • the feeling of disillusionment after having shared too much with someone who doesn’t understand
  • simply having no-one to turn to when life gets tough

You could probably add quite a few more situations to this list yourself, because everyone’s experience of feeling alone is slightly different. But – in some ways – this fact holds the key to understanding what causes us to feel alone. And, once we understand such a powerful emotion, it becomes so much easier to learn to fear it less and to recognise that you CAN do something to change your feelings.

I’ve said that there are many reasons for feeling alone, but perhaps there is really only one cause. Loneliness sets in when we cannot – for whatever reason – share our thoughts and feelings with someone whom we trust, and who we know will care. Care enough to listen to what we are saying, even if he or she is busy. Care enough to try to understand what we feel and why. Care enough to empathise rather than merely offer sympathy or condolence, worst off Pity.

Being alone and feeling alone are not the same things; not by a long way. Being alone can, for most of us, be very invigorating, but only for some of the time. For how much of the time varies significantly between people – one woman may think it idyllic to spend two weeks alone on a small Greek island with only a few books for company, another may become bored if she finds herself alone at home for a few hours once the kids are safely dropped off at school.

Most of us can handle some time alone providing that it’s our choice, or a part of our lives we consider “normal”. But very few of us would ever want to feel alone.

Feeling alone is largely created by your own perception of not being “connected” to the people around you.  “Connected” includes mutual trust in a relationship. The great thing about this is that you can influence this perception, and there are some techniques that help you to do so which we have learnt in our class.

To sign off, here are some quotes to sweeten our life:

You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.Buddha

“If you aren’t good at loving yourself, you will have a difficult time loving anyone, since you’ll resent the time and energy you give another person that you aren’t even giving to yourself.” – Barbara De Angelis

“To love oneself is the beginning of a life-long romance”– Oscar Wilde

July 2012 Connective Goal Setting Session – Spiritual Love

Hello Friends,

Love is the motivation behind many of our dreams, actions and thoughts. People move across the country, quit jobs, stay in unhealthy situations, all because they want love and they think their actions will increase it. Yet we often have a lot of rules and ideas about love that stop us from feeling love for ourselves and others.

One way to expand your capacity for real love in your life is to look at your inner rules honestly. We have discussed on inner rules in our class.

You go for the source of it and you realize its source can never be outside you, that it MUST BE revealed from within. This may sound strange, but part of you knows how to find and access love in your heart. Part of you knows intuitively what these next sentences means:
You travel nowhere to get more spiritual love. Nowhere —-> NOW HERE. There is nowhere to go but here in your heart.

Please continue to work on your Love Meditation for alignment and clearing your energies bodies that are not helping you on Love.

See you all next class in August 2012.

Here are some videos clips to work on your alignment.

June 2012 Connective Goal Setting Session – Love is the Highest Form of Energy

Hello Goal Setters,

I always been sharing that without “Love”, nothing can be accomplished, of course your Goals inclusive. You find no purpose, meanings and fulfillment in whatever you engaged in your life journey.

Energy vibrates at different frequencies. Love forces vibrate at the highest frequency. Forces of inferior kind show lower frequencies. Love has been seen as the greatest energy of life or the unified field of consciousness.

Those who are in love vibrate at high frequency and can get that frequency throughout the mind and emotions just by recalling the feeling of being in pleasant situations with the beloved ones.

The lack of love opens the door to inferior beings that enter with arms charged with negativity, anxiety, fear, sadness, hate, phobia, etc. Love nourishes health. Negative emotions nourish illness.

In our previous session, we have shared that we need to Focus our Energy – Restructure our Energy. The Chart on the left speaks a thousand words about what you need to aware of. We have also discussed about your tools and solutions on Love that were presented to you individually.Recall the Love meditation you had engaged in class and once again watched the miracles that Universe has bestowed upon you.

Focus : Restructure your Energy
1) Know Where you are going  – Awareness – “Being Present in Love”
2) How you are going to do it? – Tools and Solutions
3) What is going on around you?  – Flow

Next class, we will share and reveal more on Love.

May 2012 Connective Goal Setting Session – Getting into the momentum of love – Letting love leads…

“Love doesn’t make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile.”  Franklin Jones

 Hello Goal Setters,
Last month session, we had deep realization that love is the most important triggers in our life. All of us need “nourishment” through LOVE. Love will build your foundation for Personal Success.

There is such a thing as the perfect correspondence between Man and Woman. An alchemy that happens in one wink. In one instant only, is born this attraction superior to all attractions, a spiritual turn which we call : Love

Love is the most powerful of feelings able to animate (anima=soul in latin) us amongst those feelings which make us STAND upright facing life, filled with the mission of loving the Other, others.

In our May sharing session, I had stressed the importance of allowing LOVE into your life so you have sense of purpose in what you do. You see Light in your life. You are Guided.

Love is the sole value known that is only enriched by the gift of self to the other and reciproquely. It is the supreme freedom of shared happiness in the shaking that is imposed to us – an evidence of happiness. You are free to choose your constraint. It’s not the relationship constraining you, it’s you choosing freely the person to whom you will offer the emotional part of your freedom. It’s important to see it positively in acting and not passively like “he or she took my freedom”… We are actors of our love life. The constraint is in refusing it.

Happiness consists of harmonizing with one’s Heart, the great master of life.

All this is found far from calculations, from one’s life organization, from the dock-like regulation of one’s feelings or emotions. Those who protect themselves perhaps are not hurting, but ignore this formidable push towards joy, this hymn to live that is echoed unto the sky, carrying us and transporting us with a superhuman strength toward our objectives, allowing to attain them.

Give thanks to be as you are and keep answering the beckoning of Love with the same Faith, you’ll find on your path this person with whom you will exchange the same Force. And you will be invincible.

I cannot resist concluding this piece with a last quote from Khalil Gibran who generated these reflections : “Love is a word of Light written with a hand of Light on a page of Light. Love is the sole freedom existing in this world . Because it elevates the soul to a supreme rank which neither human rules nor their mores can reach and which neither laws nor Natural Order can govern it. Action is the Image of Love.”

Namaste OM Love

Next class, we will share and reveal more on Being Present In Love.
